Who's behind Careerz

Built by people who've done the job.

Careerz isn't run by recruiters who've never made a cold call. We've spent over ten years on the phones and leading sales teams for US and South African companies, and we built Careerz around what we learned.

  • 10+years on US and South African sales floors
  • 4roles, from setter to head of growth
  • 25+CRMs, dialers and automation tools used hands-on

Hands-on with Salesforce, HubSpot, Close, Pipedrive, GoHighLevel, Zapier and more.

  1. Appointment setter

    We started on the phones.

Hundreds of cold calls a day, booking meetings onto someone else's calendar. We know what a great setter sounds like because we've been one.

  2. Sales team lead

We've led South African sales teams.

We've recruited, trained and led cold-calling teams in South Africa to top performance. We know where the strong talent is and how to get the best from it.

  3. Recruitment manager

We've built US recruiting from scratch.

We helped grow a US recruiting firm from a team of two to a full operation, writing the SOPs, scripts and training and running the interviews. That's the playbook behind our vetting.

  4. Head of growth

We've run growth for US businesses.

We've owned sales, marketing and ad spend for a US company and closed high-ticket deals against US and UK sales teams. We know what you need from a hire because we've been the one who needed it.

Today: Careerz. Everything above, applied to your hire.

FAQ

Before you book.

Anything else, ask on the call.

Ask us on a call
What does a hire cost?

Every role is billed at one hourly rate in USD, from $9 to $12 an hour depending on the role and seniority. The exact rate is confirmed on your discovery call and agreed in writing before you hire. A full-time hire (40 hours a week) costs roughly $1,560 to $2,080 a month. That covers recruitment, vetting, training, account management and the 90-day guarantee. The only other charge is a one-time $300 setup fee per hire.

Will they really work our hours?

Yes. Your hire works a full-time schedule in your US time zone, not South African hours. South Africa is 6-10 hours ahead of the mainland US depending on daylight saving, so a 9-to-5 Eastern day runs roughly 3pm-11pm in South Africa. Every candidate commits to your exact shift during vetting, and we check it before they reach your shortlist.

How long does it take to hire?

You'll have a shortlist of 2-3 vetted candidates about 14 days after your discovery call. Once you choose, training on your SOPs takes 5-7 working days, so most hires go live 3-4 weeks after the first call.

What happens if it doesn't work out?

If a hire isn't the right fit in the first 90 days, for any reason, tell your account manager. We source, vet and train a replacement at no extra cost, and we usually have a new shortlist within 10 business days.

Who employs the hire? How does compliance work?

Your hire is contracted through Careerz in South Africa, so you don't need a local entity, payroll or benefits administration. We handle their contract, pay and South African tax compliance, and you pay one monthly USD invoice. Every hire signs confidentiality and IP-assignment terms in your favor.
